Due to its later harvesting date, the tea leaves are exposed to higher levels of sunlight which increases its catechin levels, and leads to a more astringent taste, resulting in a more robust-intense flavor than the other two grades. This grade is best used as an ingredient in cooking, baking and mixer beverages due to its nature and strong flavor. All Matcha comes from the same plant (Camelia Sinensis). Add one gram of Matcha with 50 ml of hot water (75 C), whisk and enjoy!
Sustainably grown in the hills of Shizuoka mountain area, specifically Honyama and Kawane. specifically Honyama and Kawane. As we strive to provide the best taste possible of any green tea, most of our green tea leaves are deep steamed which removes the bitterness of the leaves and brings out a sweet and creamy taste.
Please remember that your storing method could affect how the freshness, color, and flavor of your Matcha. Worse things that could affect Matcha freshness would be moisture, oxygen, and heat.
Please store in airtight / zip lock containers between 4C - 20C. This temperature ranges helps to prevent delicate aroma and flavors.
You can freeze your matcha, but DO NOT freeze your Matcha for long-term storage as it will affect the flavor and texture.

Best storing method for unopened bags is the fridge, once opened please store in airtight / ziplock containers.
